DJ Peru's September Oil/Liquids And Gas Output Decline

LIMA (Dow Jones)--Peru produced an average of 117,731 barrels of oil and other hydrocarbon liquids a day in September, 3.65% lower than in the previous month, state agency Perupetro said Tuesday.
September's production totaled 3,531,938 barrels.
Pluspetrol SA produced 36,800 b/d of liquid hydrocarbons in September for a total of 1,104,004 barrels from Block 88, the main block in the Camisea natural gas field.
Pluspetrol SA's Pluspetrol Norte also produced 28,027 b/d of oil in September for a total of 840,817 barrels from Block 1-AB.
Petroleo Brasileiro SA (PETR4.BR), or Petrobras, produced 12,519 b/d of oil in Block-X during the month for a total of 375,570 barrels, the government said.
In September, Peru produced 6.79 billion cubic feet of natural gas, or a daily average of 226.44 million cubic feet, down 0.3% compared with the previous month.
The largest gas producer in September was Pluspetrol, with 139.87 million cubic feet of natural gas a day from Block 88, for a monthly total of 4.20 billion cubic feet.
Aguaytia Energy had output of 47.94 million cubic feet of natural gas a day in September from Block 31-C, for a total of 1.44 billion cubic feet.
Grupo Aguaytia Energy is operated by U.S.-based Maple Gas Corp. Duke Energy International (DUK) has a 38% stake.
Petrobras had output of 12.51 million cubic feet of natural gas a day in September, for a total of 375.41 million cubic feet, the government said. |
