Ted,

Per usual, you are confused.......going by the comments Republicans are making on tv and on the web,

I don't watch TV.

its you all who dislike Foley.........actually, I think "hate" or "despise" might be better words to describe the feelings coming from GOPers during this busy week.

If he was a Democrat, I imagine there would be rallying to his defense by the party and media. He would probably stay on the job, maybe would agree to some counseling. The reason is that the Democrat elite does not believe this behavior is objectionable. Republicans don't like that behaviour, so he is gone.

Not to worry....the GOP voters will come through like they have in years past and you will be making another visit to this thread right after election nite to rub it in. ;-) Well......until then....ta ta!

Oh no Ted you are scaring me by not predicting a Dem landslide. If you think that GOP will retain control of the Congress, GOP will likely lose it (based on your past track record).

Well, GOP deserves to lose control of Congress, so I have mixed feeling about the whole situation. (Still voting straight Republican ticket, of course. I never miss.)

Joe
