The Studds case happened in 1973 not the 1980's like the RNC spinners are saying. Back in 1973 things were very different and there was not much sensitivity about outlawing underaged sex then. In fact just a few years before that my own boy scout leader was let off scott free after molesting boys and getting one killed. He would be put in prison these days.

The RNC is also lying that Monica Lewinsky was a teenager. She was 22 at the time she played around with Clinton.

And both Clinton and Studds case were consensual. In fact Studd's boyfriend stood up for him, and Monica was head over heels in love with Clinton. They were unethical, but nowhere near as sleazy as this case.
