Oh, I know why I was down in that neck of the woods day before yesterday, I was bringing food to the food bank in Lorton. Cleaned out my entire stockpile of food I laid in after 9/11 and various other panics. With the seats folded out of the way, it took up the entire back of the minivan. The two guys unloading the stuff looked a little bit startled, and the older guy supervising said, "yep, getting to be that time of year again." I have no idea what he meant. I assumed Thanksgiving, but have been wondering if there was some sort of phenomenon associated with the autumn version of spring cleaning. I was just looking at my bare shelves and wondering what to do next.
