Ed, I've gotta say thanks a bunch for your cautionary words and suggestions on SI Gold thread. I see that you are with pacbell. I am also in CA (Santa Cruz).
I am not exactly a newbie to trading/charting. I did some SOES (level II) trading for almost a year. Pretty hectic and took some pretty tough hits on some positions that I felt too strongly about. Thought I'd do better with broad market plays. I am fairly bearish at this point. Have one position at this time: SPX Nov. 940 puts I bought this AM. I did pretty well with XAU Oct. 95 calls which I closed yesterday. Expecting to see continued shorting of gold but doubt we'll return to 95. Looking to get back into some Nov. XAU calls today depending on what we see in today's market.
