Hey John or anyone else... Can anyone comment (especially you Americans) on the 'compact' which must be signed and approved before the Gun Lake Band can operate a casino. The article mentioned that 4 other tribes have been regognized since 1994 and they HAVE NOT had the compact approved yet! Is this indicating we have a minimum of 3 years to wait before the compact is signed and the casino is allowed to get underway?? This is a very serious situation and I hope that I am misinterpreting the 'power' or necessity of a 'compact'!!! Help!! jk
