TRUTH was very appropriate for my Wednesday. I have spent over a year and a half trying unsuccessfully to dissuade two of my occasional business associates (and second tier friends), both of whom are nice guys, from suing one another. I failed and now both parties want affidavits from me. I talked to both of them today and told them that I would be happy to give each of them an affidavit, but that the affidavits would be identical. The facts are immutable and I am not going to spin them. Therefore, while there was no PLEASURE in my day, I did take the CHANCE that both parties will be more than a little irritated with me. I very badly need a day offering SERENITY.
