Although I think this options backdating stuff is a bit of a witchhunt, I think we are in a climate now with some of these CEOs and boards (Dunn at HP, options backdating, other financial scandals) where people are just SICK OF THIS.

These executives make more as a % of the average workers wages than ever in the USA. The reason people like Dunn, Jobs etc make "the big bucks" and I DO MEAN THE BIG BUCKS is that they are responsible. There is less of a willingness to look the other way these days.

I am very glad this Apple options mess is 2002 and before, and I am glad Anderson resigned although I think that was just figurative. I want these execs to start accepting responsibility for this BS as quickly as they are willing to accept their colossal pay packages.
