Elliptical huh? Like from the latin word "ellipsis"? As in "falling short"? Like your long-winded response did? Whatever you think you are trying to say, it is mean spirited in any language. The equivalent of coating nasty lettuce in salad dressing in the hopes that I won't be able to taste through to the wilt.
