Foley says he's been advised by his attorney not to name the alleged abuser. I think that's legalese for foley's making the story up.I can't believe how these people continue to try to justify their behavior. Further, after stating "the buck stops here," Hastert then blamed the page committee for not doing a better job, he doesn't impugn Reynold's credibility, but says Reynolds never talked to him about the foley issue - Reynolds claims he spoke to hastert three times over the past year wrt foley. Hastert also shirks responsibility when he claims that he was set up by the dems, soros and clinton.

And in a case of deja vu all over again, when pressed about how he would deal with people in his office who knew of foley's pedophelia, Hastert said those folks will "be dealt with appropriately." Doesn't that sound alarmingly familiar to bush's assertion he would deal with those who leaked Plame's name? Yes.
