GPS, I admit to being guilty of using the word "human" in a novel way. You are referring to regular garden variety homo sapiens sapiens. I'm referring to the post-modern "homo sapiens sapiens nouveau", hssn, which is a specific subset of homo sapiens sapiens. Hssn is is still swirling around in the genetic morass of regular garden variety humans having not yet segregated.
It might be that they will separate geographically, such as migrating to one country or another, or they might simply be successful in the wider gene pool and less effective DNA will gradually be eliminated from the gene pool.
Or, they might even separate as a species while living among the regular variety, which I suspect is less likely, though there is always the tension in societies between the upper and lower classes, with them sometimes forming reasonably distinct separation such as the Dalits and Brahmins. Being a paid up fan club member of DNA being our driver, with environmentally derived cultural norms a relatively trivial part of our existence, for adapting to transient situations, I think the process will be one of genetic filtration rather than cultural adaptation to a new idea. Eugenics in a word. Which is not to suggest compulsion of any sort. Just the regular process of women conducting genocide by denying mating rites to males of dodgy DNA. Women have seen off a LOT of genes over the millennia, as you can tell from the way we can for the most part stay on our hind legs for hours, while bonobo blokes get puffed and drop onto their knuckles fairly regularly. Also, we can act fairly civil for long periods too [unless boozed]. We even wear pants a lot of the time to hide our more embarrassing components which are a dead giveaway to our origins.
