I can only speculate but they said the wafer was just in from fab. Normally Intel needs a couple of weeks to slice and dice, package and test some samples then get a board working. No time, that's all.

What we do know is that AMD hasn't shown any working quad core silicon, no matter how you package or define it.


LOL, are you trying to say that because they could slice, dice, package and test some samples and get them working in "no time" that they have, essentially, "shown working quad-core silicon?"

Again LOL. Nice double standard you've got there.
