I think Canada is now 2009, our government isn't able to get it's head around issuing some kind of secure identification, at least the Conservatives are thinking about it, the Liberals couldn't get their thieving minds to work on the situation. OTOH, the loss to border communities in the US/Canada border area will be huge. That the plan comes into effect on January 01, 2009 between Canada and the US says huge amounts if you think about it.
