Yeah, if all this were coming together on the Republican side, it would be the result of some evil and nefariously plotted plan! But as for it coming from the Dems, you can be pretty sure it's just dumb luck. It's revealing the weakness of the Rove "divide and rule" strategy, where they get to 51% and don't even attempt to build consensus. It's just too easy to turn enough voters to have them lose control.
