The Dems are just lucky it didn't happen to them while they were in power. It could have just as easily taken place to one of their guys on a Dem Speaker's watch. It did happen to them except the Demoncrat Gerry Studds actually had sex with the page. He turned his back when the told him he was a bad politician, and was re-elected for several more terms. For having has sex with a 17 year old boy, he was a respected Demoncrat who needed have no shame for picking boyfriends from the page pool. Foley's two mistakes were he didn't have sex with anyone, and he wasn't a Demoncrat.
