I disagree with the idea of pricing the DOW in euros.

I didn't get that he was suggesting that.

My take is that he was trying to illustrate the fallacy of the "Record Dow" BS by looking at the loss in purchasing power of the USD.

A useful measure for showing that was to do a conversion to Euros to get a sense of the real, relative value of these "Fantastic" Dow results.

Truth and reality will follow the elections in November....
