Actually I do not mind the feature and think that it could be useful. But the feature is not available for those reading posts in blocks thus I have only used it once. Right now as it sits, it is probably used more by people who have to step thru post by post than subscribers with batch features. In addition, in this context it is also being used as a measure of spite as opposed to recommending reading some posts that really have worthwhile content. Calculated Risk and Bart and you do not get a lot of recs for very good charts you post. Even Rus does not generate a lot of recs. What does it say then when stuff like that gets more? In effect we are measuring a pissing match on a board that openly mocks my views on deflation. Does it really say anything when someone can get a lot of recs for calling me a pimp? As I have said, John has taken a personal grudge to the extreme so what does it say when that attitude starts getting recs? Mish
