Somehow I cannot imagine what China sees in sustaining the North Korean dictatorship. The current assessment is that they fear the massive flood of refugees when the government implodes.

Given that they wish to continue to prop up Kim, they cannot allow him to remain isolated for long.

Do you suppose that China like having a worse bully around to make themselves look less onerous?
