To which I replied, "Well those ungratefull bastards! Apple is only trying to help those PCers out of the mud in the sty. All that 'control' they are 'missing' only leads them further into the muck. As Apple has proven, people are too ignorant to know what they want or desire. Apple shows them what they will come to want, and then works on improving it."
Then you asked, "Serious question- was that statement sarcastic or is that what you actually think? A simple yes or no will suffice."

There is sarcasm in the statements I made - I don't think all PCers are ignorant. Note that I called the PCers ignorant, not stupid, there is a difference. I believe in most of what I stated, however. PCers really do wander around in the muck. Most of the software is buggy and generally useless, as is much of the hardware geared specifically to the PC. I look at the Windows/PC world and see a lot of companies making the most of ripping off the ignorant with software and hardware bits and pieces that should have been included in the system in the first place. White box geeks? Good for them since it is their desire to wade in the mud.
Apple, on the other hand, includes everything you could reasonably want in every new machine they sell. |
