who the hell cares what will happen over the extreme long term. the fact is nobody knows including you. I care about what will happen in the next 1 to 3 years. That's all. Beyond that is anyone's guess.

If you want to invest in perpetual inflationary prosperity then you should buy the Dow and S&P500 today and don't look for the next 30 years. In 30 years, open your account statement and see what you have.
