First of all, "economists" are like "statistics" and you know what they say about statistics...

I think most here are not looking and talking in the time frames that you are. The definition on "deflation" allows for shorter periods, as the period is not defined, so don't tell me that I am not using the english language correctly.

I agree that inflation is and will happen over lifetimes, that is the nature of a fiat currency IMO.

But, why bother to talk about that time frame, I need to make decisions on my major investments/assets in periods of months/years not lifetimes.
