Over the years, I'm still puzzled by those that tell me whether a poster on the AMD board is an Intel employee or not is irrelevant. It's my understanding AMD employees are not to post as they are representatives of the company just as any company's employees are representatives and can be held liable for their comments. Therefore it is my view that since Intel condones the practice, it must be viewed as a benefit to Intel.
