That's one view. I understand that there is big demand for conversion kits to move from XMSR to SIRI.

LOL. Who told you that, Sirius Rich? Sirius doesn't seem to be able to get one on the market that actually works.

If you hate hard sell, try an experiment and call XMSR and tell them you're switching. Word is you can get your sub cost down to $3/month.

XM runs a retention department just like every cellphone company in existence. $3 a month is an exaggeration.
