There are major Java projects going on out there right now being lead by IBM, DEC, Oracle, Metscape, Sun, this are just few of the major vendors working on this language and improving it. I think that Aplix is in good position to become a #1 vendor for realtime applications with Java support. Also something to consider is that Aplix already has the 100% pure Java designation wich will help their case against the likes of Corel and Microsoft. Aplix looks good also as a takeover target by IBM and posibly Microsoft(Microsoft wants to compete in the business arena and trying to take away business from the Unix shops),however what better way to get in to a market but by dividing and conquering ( I.E. buying ALPIX). Aplix has been in business for a long time and it does have a good customer base in the Unix comunity, so I see them coming back to beeing profitable in hte coming year.

Regards

Joshua
