Updated Credit Default Swaps chart. In September spreads on CDSs did not continue to narrow in the face of bond spreads widening. The situation seems to have stabilized with both spreads trading sideways. Interestingly the CDX index which seems to be inversely correlated with stocks has retreated from a mid month low and is still far from the low set in late April.
