Seems that hybrid gas-electric vehicle power is gaining over hydrogen.This would be real positive for zinc silver etc. Azure Dynamics Corp Symbol AZD Shares Issued 159,379,983 Close 2006-10-05 C$ 0.74 Recent Sedar Documents Globe/wire say Azure to develop Ford hybrid vans 2006-10-06 08:34 ET - In the News The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Oct. 6, edition that Azure Dynamics is entering a deal with Ford Motor to produce gasoline-electric versions of the Ford E Series commercial vans. A Bloomberg dispatch to The Globe reports that Azure will develop a hybrid power system for the E-350 and E-450 vans. Ford will ship the vans from an Ohio plant and Azure will install the power system. Azure representative Steven Glaser said his company wants to have the first vans available in early 2008. Ford representative Nick Twork said his company will help develop the hybrids and then sell them through dealers. Azure shares rose one cent to 74 cents on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Oct. 5. Ford shares fell 23 U.S. cents to $8.33 (U.S.) on the New York Stock Exchange.
