Again, I don't have a problem with this at all. The fact is that in order for organic to become mainstream, sourcing is going to be difficult. There simply aren't enough organic farmers near most of us.

However, as the market grows more and more farmers will want to be part of the organic movement and therefore local availability will increase.

At this point, the protests seems to me to be shortsighted turf issues likely related to a loss in profitability.
