HA! Those batteries are made in China under Sony contracts. <GGG>

You're exactly right, Mar$. Japan has all the tech know-how required, the capital, and now, the need. They have nuke power plants, and very likely have stocks of plutonium on hand. Their space program has given them the wherewithal to produce rocket motors and guidance systems capable of ballistic systems accuracy to produce formidable weapons.

I'm reminded of the old Arab curse, "may you live in interesting times."
