I wrote it.

Look at the devastation in property values and the Nikkei. Massive collapse compared to any relatively trivial drop in CPI.
Look at enormous injections of cash that did nothing.

BTW - I expect the same thing here: Massive collapse in asset prices and stocks relatively little drop in CPI
