I am the one asking ARRS board of director to find a product for telco. And they came up with the iptv system for Korea telco. 108 mbps system, tested and approved recently. Roll out is imminent. Don't worry, new technology is always there, but you have to stay the course for universal adaptation before you obsolete your own technology. ARRS had been a Nortel(NT) licensee and still good for telco's last mile deployment? This year, I will ba asking ARRS for a product for cellphone central office and microwve tower? Once the technology is saturated then new technology will roll out for all the customers to repeat obsolescense and replacement business strategy. I have been conference attendee for many years, love those promotional items. When business is good, t-shirts(50 cents wholesale in HK) are given out, otherwise only candy to sweeten the customers.
