Given what you said about the banks;"Inflation will expand as long as banks are willing to lend and consumers are willing to borrow.",I'm curious why in the last few years given so much loose credit available and those who took advantage of it why inflation was not more a concern. Should we be concerned today in any fundamental relationships existing similar in nature to the economy of the mid to latter 1970's ? By 1980 we were witnessing double digit inflation.
