Liar. Clarke's AL Qaida desk was done away with by Bush. Clarke no longer had a job after Bush came in. Clarke was very upset about this, for the country mostly, but took the cyber security job. He then went to work trying to alert Condi Rice and Bush but they paid little or no attention to Clarke and his dire warnings. In fact, Bushies completely ignored all AL Qaida warnings including retaliation for the USS Cole until September 12, 2001.
