There is absolutely no reason to split hairs in defense of a totalitarian regime that oppresses its people and threatens the stability of all of Asia.

Of course you are right...but how did we improve their lot by isolating their mad leader? Now we go to even tougher sanctions, assuming that's possible...who do you think will do with even less?

Let's explore the statement "assuming that's possible" by the way ...given the level of distaste engendered by bush and his team around the world, do you suppose that there may be countries out there that would love nothing better than to see us fail in Asia as well as in Iraq? Think about who they might be.
