You seem to be very naive and also ignorant of the history of the Middle East for the period beginning from the time of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire (ca. 1919) to recent times. I will not attempt to ram facts down your throat. The facts are all out there waiting for you to get acquainted with them and/or discover them
You will do well to note that the Muslim antagonism and hatred against the US was largely fuelled by
the Muslim suspicion that the US-Israel 'symbiotic' relationship is for the eventual subjugation of the Middle East and control of their oil wealth in order for the US to be able to exert its hegemony wordwide, and for Israel to become the dominant power in the region and realize its dream of creating Eretz Israel (Greater Israel) whose borders extend beyond the Litani (Lebanon) and the Euphrates (Iraq) Rivers.
The Muslim suspicion is bolstered by
the US's unstinting and overt economic and military support for Israel and by US approval of Israel's aggressive military action against the Palestinians and seizure of their lands,
by US military action in Iraq and in Afghanistan;
and by the fact that as
OIL is a quitessential material providing the "lifeblood" of industries --- fuels for powering machines, for transportation and home-heating; and
chemical precursors for the manufacture of explosives, drugs and fertilisers and plastics & artificial rubber & etc,
it is pretty obvious that the nation that controls the OIL supply pretty well controls the world.
It is amazing you didn't seem to realize this.
You will also do well to understand that prior to the formation of Israel in 1948, the Muslims in the Middle East were relatively well-behaved under their British and French colonial masters. Even the Sunnis and Shi-ites in Iraq lived in peaceful coexistence under the British colonial yoke.
But after Israel was created in 1948, Muslim antagonism and hatred for the west have escalated over the years to present levels. According to a number of observers, including Orthodox Jewish Rabbis, Zionism and US overt support for the Zionists are mainly responsible for it. And, of course, Bush's phony War on Terror and wrongheaded policies for Iraq exacerbated matters considerably! Before Saddam was demonized and deposed, there were hardly any terrorists in Iraq. But the number of Muslim terrorists swelled by leaps and bounds ever since the US invaded and occupied Iraq. Americans are so aware and fearful of terrorists, lurking possibly in every nook and cranny that most of them are afraid to be seen outside of the US. Nor do many of them feel safe at home.
Bush, the guy that you so ardently worship as the man of the hour, has been responsible for not a few of the socio-politico-economic ills that beset America today. First of all, because of Bush's lies and deceptions and contrived military aggression, America has lost prestige and credibility and is seen as a rogue-state. Secondly, America has chalked up a humongous mountain of debt. Thirdly, America no longer commands the respect it enjoyed in former times. For example, Ahmadinejad dared call Bush's bluff, and Kim Il Sung of N. Korea defied Bush by
exploding a nuke device this morning.
I do not presume to know how to solve the problems of the Middle East. However, some observers and experts have suggested that delegitimizing the claims of the Moslems is the way to go. Maybe so. Who knows?
