Wow.....she's a presidential candidate??? I knew there were things wrong with our form of gov't. Some amazing things coming out of South America on many different levels. One of the hottest singers these days is Shakira, who is from Columbia. Her music seems to be a fusion of American pop and Colombian salsa. Really hot! Her breakthrough CD emphasizes her Columbian origins. Interestingly enough, Shakira means 'peace' in Arabic. Her father is Lebanese Muslim and her mother Columbian.
