Yes, they don't share our love of fireworks. On another July 4 I had an Englishman (married to a Mexican) visiting us in Benicia, which has a nice fireworks display down by the waterfront. So as a form of inexpensive evening entertainment I took them there for a close-up experience. It was spectacular; you could smell the smoke and stuff was going off all around. Would you believe that out friend from across the sea wanted to leave the scene just as the action was getting good! Its true. His Mexican wife didn't have any trouble with it. Its the way they are. Non-lovers of fireworks. Bogtalk
