Come now TJ, racism is perfectly sensible. You are one of said racists. "Racist" is an excellent insult and argument winner. One only needs to use the word racist to be an instant winner in a discussion. We have a LOT of racism usage here in NZ, with everyone racing for the word and in quite absurd circumstances. Winston Peters came up with a beauty recently, calling Don Brash racist for saying there shouldn't be racist policies. Or maybe it was somebody else and Winston just called him evil. Or something. It is quite a lot of fun. With everyone calling everyone else racist, it does get a bit silly.
"Racist" has become a bit like left wing and right wing - almost meaningless, though no doubt each user has their own multipurpose meaning, which means what they want it to mean at the time they use it. For example, in USA parlance, I think it's racist and left wing to be against affirmative action.
The world champion racist was Yiwu the Mad. Positively rabidly racistly anti-American, drooling like Pavlov's dog at all opportunities. Cackling away like a medievil witch. I think we can use the word racist to apply to those who are against Americans and think Chinese are superior.
It certainly isn't pointless to be racist in cyberspace. Of course one should NOT be racist about Moslems, who are wonderful people enjoying their peaceable religion. Well, they would if they weren't insulted by filthy racist scum who need their heads hacked off if they call such a peaceful religion violent.
Being racist about anyone but Moslems is good fun. Everyone is so busy NOT being racist, that it leaves a LOT of room for those of us in favour of eugenics and getting rid of the dud genes from the dud races so the racially superior humans can go on to populate the planet.
There has been excellent eugenics progress over the millennia as one can see from our [most of us] reasonably hairless bodies, and most of us can go on our hind legs nearly all day without dropping onto our knuckles. Eugenics has done that! Women are enthusiastic eugenics practitioners, doing most of the work. Blokes are relatively indifferent and will be pleased to father children with pretty much anyone. If really pressed for feminine company, they have been known to attempt to father lambs [filthy racist rumour has it anyway] and joeys.
