Specifically what religious right has been eliminated?

I think the key is the word "right."

No "rights" per se have been eliminated. But it's pretty clear that religious expression has been extremely circumscribed in any situation bearing the least relationship to a governmental office, function or service. (To a ridiculous point in many instances, IMO. The ACLU might do more good allocating its resources to real problems, but that's another topic.)

Where PCism is concerned, one has to ascertain the bent. In the area of religion, the bent is
anti-- religious symbols and in favor of enforced secularism.

Cartoons and humor are another thing altogether. That's where the sacred cows are lampooned. Humor like that is not part of government action and therefore should not be controlled. The marketplace should handle it. Individuals can turn the dial or stop buying the newspaper, if they are offended. The irony is that religion is often a topic of humor. Funny how that exposure is not offensive but having some religious symbol on a county seal is anathema.
