I've heard this strategy recently expressed by many prominent Republicans. They appear to have their eye on winning the larger prize in 2008. However, it's doubtful all Americans won't suffer dire consequences as a result of allowing today's radical Democrats even a brief period of control. Would you really feel comfortable with Pelosi as Speaker of the House and Charlie Rangle as chairman of the Ways & Means Cmte? >>It could be helpful to the Repubs to lose the House. At least they'll have "someone" to blame for how things are going at that time.<<
