Your post is very misleading - you are claiming Clarke changed jobs in March 2001. No, my post makes no such assertion. My post says that clarke ASKED to change jobs in march 2001. My post suggests that the reason for this is that the bush adminsitration had already sidelined clarke, well before the 9/11 event. My post also suggests that the bush adminstration did not take alqueda seriously as a substantial threat until 9/11, and then proceeded with an "invade mexico" policy...which brings us to the present day, wherein second rate rogue nations feel at absolute liberty to deride our demands...
