Manny I happened to watch the Bill Moyers program about the Abramoff debacle wherein the house in K street was a front for laundering money from the Indian tribes to DeLay who dispersed it to cronies to win Republican seats. That is a succinct summary of it all. However, all while the deceit and corruption was going on( the conservative house on K street was run by Ralph Reed for Christian Right and family values and did not and does not believe in gambling as an aside). However, no one knew that the money was coming from the gambling operations.. So, when DeLay got indited for being dishonest..(junkets to Scotland ALL. Cushioning jobs.. Oh, Abramoff opened a restaurant where everyone in D.C. who courted him ate free. You should have seen the menu. I notice they did not have MOOSE on it. smile
