Ideology in general is a very poor basis for acquiring knowledge." The Chinese "communo-capitalism" is producing some of the most spectacular GDP growth rates on the planet today. They've been saying the Chinese can't sustain that rate of growth for the last ten years. In time, I'm sure they'll be correct! It's also worth noting the Chinese defense expenditures are a tenth of ours, and they aren't engaged in any pointless, unproductive foreign wars.
