Dave, the DRAM CHIP, in its present form as a free standing CHIP, may die a natural death, some day---as CHIP manufacturers find ways to combine the CHIP's functions with other CHIPs. But, that will take some Time---enough Time for AMAT to earn enough money from other sources to take care of the loss of income from those DRAM CHIPS. AMAT ---with 19 winning years out of 20 as, stated by James Morgan in 1995--- is one Company that can easily adapt to changes. Companies come and go but AMAT will be with us for a long time to come!...
