Don,Transfer your NDB account to another broker by wiring your money to the
new broker. When I transferred my NDB cash to Brown, the whole process took
less than a week. I sent in my Brown application and they processed it the
day they received it. I called them up and they gave me my account number,
and wire instructions, and I was able to trade the next day. As for the
stock positions that I had at NDB, I just waited until I sold them, and then
wired the money to Brown. I figured it was a lot more efficient than
taking a chance on one of NBD's knuckleheads to screw up the stock
transfer process, and cost me more money in lost trades!!
