You could train swallows to fly in beakfuls of water from the Yukon, and mine this deposit economically, it is that massive and that rich ... they will get water somewhere somehow, the cost per litre will no doubt be higher than some other places, but net net overall it won't end up all that considerable as a percentage of total cash costs per tonne, imho
A bigger factor in chart weakness since june would be the pumps by Jason Hommel, i think ... lots of short term players attracted, then zinc sold off a bit and levelled out, attentions were diverted elsewhere, including that of JH it would appear ... add to that the constant selling of the Britannia Holdings shares throughout summer which is always relatively slow, and you get a decline ... could have been more severe than it was
There may be a perception of water shortage being critical, so then the perception becomes the fundamental, sure ... but they'll get the water, they're working on it, meantime i'm adding shares recently, and some this morning ... zinc is at a new high at 1.73 and up, if memory serves [what was the high last spring, 1.71ish, right?] ... cheers |
