They can no longer perpetuate the notion that Korea can be united against the mean ole nasty USA

Since when has the north let truth or even credibility effect the notions they try to perpetuate (and perhaps succeed in perpetuating at least within their own boundaries)


Or they'll have to rely on China, which is becoming less and less tolerant of North Korea's antics.


China has the most leverage, and its leverage would probably increase if the South drops the sunshine policy. If anyone outside of North Korea can change NK's direction it would be China, but can even China do it, and if so how badly does China want to do so, esp. if it requires actions that China doesn't want to take.
