Frankly, if Lincoln undermined the constitution to save the union, more power to him. I do not think the result is a shame at all. He did it to save the union, not for his own benefit.

Nor do I think we are currently being undermined.

When Hillary Clinton, Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Boxer, and all those people who want to destroy the Bill of Rights starting with the Second Amendment get in power, THEN we will be in trouble.

Believe me, I will stand up and object in that scenario. I made my only political contributions in decades to try and prevent it in 2000 and 2004. It was money well spent, but those people are still out there trying to impose their will on me.
