And this was "stupid" how? Because the proportion of people questioned is irrelevant. Acting like it's an indicator of bias is either duplicitous or stupid. I say "stupid" rather than simply ignorant because his mistake is so elemental that you'd have to be pretty stupid not to "get" it with even the most rudimentary exposure to survey procedures, which anyone presuming to write about such things should have. The only way to avoid what he's complaining about would be to not do a random survey. Then he would have something to holler about. But he's complaining about just the opposite. What an idiot.
