Cree is due to report earnings on Thurs 10/19, the day before expiration. I was watching in in the 18+ range in Aug and Sep but failed to act as it started to move up. Per Yahoo, earnings in March quarter were .26, June .18, expected Sep .16. Is this one you already own or would buy in order to write the calls?
