What do you think it is trying to tell you? You must get something from it. There is, after all, what the statement obviously says. Certainly we all get that. Then some of us might make the inference that when you interfere in the lives of others and make things worse than they were before you stepped in, you are responsible for the harm that results from your interference. No matter how noble your intentions, it doesn't make people less dead who would not have died, but for you and your actions. Being responsible requires stepping up to inconvenient truths like that.
